All Things Tea

The place is cute and our waiter was kind. However, it would be helpful to get the food menu or know what's in the food ahead of ordering. I made the mistake of not asking what's in the food with the assumption that they're made a certain way. So, if you have any food allergies or intolerances, ask first. Great selection of tea and the food preparation was lovely!

Overall not great felt the experience was tainted by the rude staff who didn't even attend to us. The person who seemed to be the owner was nice but was a bystander. We had never been to a tea place so we just walked up but "RESERVATIONS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!" in the most condescending manner repeated several times at the end of our time together. If they couldn't attend to us they could've just said no we cannot attend to you I'm sorry and we would've just left but instead we thought it was an okay experience but at the end we're just getting side eyed by someone who didn't even help us. I would understand if we were rude or ordered 20 things but we just had a pot of tea, cake, and some cucumber sandwiches and we even sat outside with no one around. I can't understand how that was okay I was being reprimanded like a child, when she only talked to us once then left us in the care of her boss, but then her boss let her just keep going at it as she rung me up. Honestly makes me just think we weren't their target demographic since everyone inside was older and yt and we were young BIPOC, the environment inside was also cold and professional almost, just wanted a nice tea time. As for the food chocolate cake tasted like dark chocolate frosting, the tea was alright, egg sandwich cute not my favorite thing though, and the cucumber sandwiches were good. Overall though the price and the experience left much to be desired. If you still choose to go: MAKE A RESERVATION!!!!! Expect to be there a WHILE Choose the outside seating quite lovely. Overall I hope the environment changes just wasn't an experience I want to invite my friends or family to as my whole family loves to have tea together in the mornings.

Vast selection of fresh loose leaf teas. The Moroccan tea was delicious and refreshing. If dining in, they have clean ceramic pots and cups. Good selection of sweets, if one wants, accompanied by fresh fruit and sweet cream. Patio is cozy and lets in just the right amount of sun. There's seating indoors, too. Wait staff is fantastic.

Caitlin was an absolute doll! My friend Christina and I went today Saturday the 7th of May the day before Mother's Day. We've both lost our Mother's and my friend Christina had lost her son. There wasn't any room but after Caitlin heard my sad story she made room for myself and my friend Christina to spend our afternoon at all things tea and reminisce about our Mother's. I will always be eternally grateful for her kindness. The tea is delicious the food is delicious. The portions are very small and very expensive. But it's more the ambience that you're paying for. I feel that it's worth it.

Every time I visit this gem tbe food is consistently great! Donna is extremely knowledgeable about tea and has created her own wonderful line including the immunity tea which was spectacular. The quiche is the best I have ever tasted. The tuna curry sald is a delicious light entree. Followed up with the creme de la creme flourless chocolate cake which was delightful! Donna is a great and hospitable hostess. Cant wait to go back!

All Things Tea has the absolute best tea in Ventura county! It's ran by a sweet woman named Donna and she is wonderful! I highly recommend taking an afternoon for high tea here. Don't be in a rush because it's about enjoying the excellent teas and finger foods along with the company that you have with you. Its also great to stock up on some amazing loose leaf tea or snacks on the go. I'm glad they are still going with this COVID crazy happening at this time. Stop by if you get a chance! 👌🔥🔥🔥

I walked in, I was told to sit at any table outside...I sat there for 10 minutes, finally I was asked what kind of tea did I want..I had no idea, the server brought out a tea menu..I waited another 10 minutes for the tea...had to ask for sugar...I never did receive a regular menu. Odd, I had a reservation, and had preordered what I wanted...I told the server what I wanted, 45 minutes later, no food... By the way, I was their only seated customer.. I finally left, left money for the tea. The owner called me, she said she did not realize I was on a time schedule...maybe I had an emergency....really, almost an hour waiting for her special sandwiches. She apparently delivered them to the outdoor table after I left, offered to box them up for free...I don't think so, after flies may have been on them. Obviously, this owner is not interested in serving her customers in a timely fashion.
