King Charcoal Chickens Takeaway

Stayed at Campbelltown on way through from Melbourne to Coffs Harbour. Got chicken and scalloped potato. It was absolutely delicious. There were a wide range of salads on offer, a fantastic looking Greek salad. Wish we could have ordered more or it was our local chicken shop. Great service, very clean, professional establishment.

Chicken is delicious! The place is shining clean. Staff are very friendly. I went 12noon today and the place was very busy. Had to wait about 30minutes to order...and then had to wait another 10 minutes for them to prepare the order. Parking was ok on a a Sunday. Best if you pre order and pick up later. I definitely recommend this place.

Tried this place a second time, and unfortunately it is again substandard. The first time I waited AT THE COUNTER to be served but everyone seemed to be busy doing.....well, everything but serving customers. Reasonable food when I did get though. Second time however.....I walked in and there was one other customer, who had already been served and was waiting for her order. I actually stood at the counter, watching 3 staff do everything else but serve a customer, plus a kitchen staffer who looked at me waiting and made no effort and just walked back into the kitchen. Note this, there were only 2 people in the shop, and I was the ONLY customer waiting to be served, and I was still ignored or not noticed. I ordered a Meal deal, and a potato salad. The bill $26.00. I asked for a breakdown. The salad itself was $10 ($10!!!! FOR A PUNNET OF MASS PRODUCED SALAD???? RIP OFF) I asked for the salad to be removed. She did it, begrudgingly. The bill then came to $20.80. I challenged it. She said thats the bill. How does $26.00 minus $10 equal $20.80??? I was hungry, tired and just wanted to get home, and didn't want to cause a scene. With her insisting on that amount, I paid and left. The food was, again, pretty ordinary. Not good enough, not up to what they are charging, and lousy service. This is a zero star business. Only giving one star because Google won't allow a post with no stars. Never again. Update. I live in the same postcode as the shop. I am, literally, 3 mins from the shop. The food was cold when I got home. Yuk.

Lady work here is Extremely rude customer service and being resist the lady who works there has some kind of attitude, if you ask her any question or add something to your order she is not hesitating to roll her eyes or to shake her head and gets very angry even when she takes the customer's order, she gets annoyed for some reason. I can't believe how they can be still in business with that manner. You lost one your customers, never ever again. Just a message for that lady. Please go to rehab or mental institution.

Absolute best charcoal in Sydney. I have been coming here for over 20 years, I live in greystanes area and cannot find another chicken shop who compares. Everytime I am in Campbelltown I always pop in for a chook. They have awesume meals to choose from, but yes I strongly believe they are the best. Oh and the stuffing OMG is soo tasty, how can some places have chicken without stuffing it is a must. Thanks Kings
