Courgette Restaurant

Terrible experience. I been here last Christmas, it was much more batter last time. It take us 3 hours to finish the tasting menu this time. When I complain the salmon is not fresh and smelly, the owner came and told us it is impossible, the fish is fresh just come today. His face looks unhappy and the attitude is not kind at all. I think he have not even tasted it. The waiter there is not trained properly. They came to our table with the next course, but we still have the empty plate of last course on table. We opened a bottle of wine. There is no one see our glasses are empty until we ask for refill. The food is just at average level, noting special. I will never go back again since the experience was extremely disappointing.

Visiting Canberra we were highly recommended a meal at Courgette, which we are so glad to did! This hatted restaurant was sublime from the moment we entered. The service was incredibly professional, friendly and warm! The decor and ambience was impressive! The wine list extensive! The food was phenomenal!! We had the four course menu and couldn’t have made a bad choice. My only disappointment was that my husband wouldn’t share his dessert once I finished mine!! What and exceptional dining experience!!
