Pomegranate

Pomegranate is an excellent experience with a wonderful ambiance and fantastic, friendly staff. We had the banquet menu which is a sample of about 8 different dishes that were incredibly generous servings… Highlights included the prawn mousaka, L chops and the zucchini flowers… excellent wine choice! Great experience

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent menu with the addition of enticing specials. The lunch time seating was quite full but the space meant we weren’t crowded. Staff accommodated our 5 year old daughter. The kingfish was full of flavour however parts of the dish were cold and the fish itself was only just warm. The Balmain Bugs were sensational as was the chocolate dessert. Lovely and tasty dips platter and the potatoes were very crunchy and flavoursome.

We have eaten at Pomegranate many, many times. Our most recent trip was last Saturday night. We were supposed to be five but ... CoVid ... Notwithstanding the absence of a couple of our guests, we had the most magnificent meal. Two of us on the banquet (excellent value at $75) and one ordering a la carte. I find it really hard to pick a fave dish as they are all so good. On our way home we three discussed the fact that none of us has ever had a bad meal at Pomegranate. Not only is it consistently high quality in terms of the food, but the service is second to none ... attentive without intruding and friendly without being over the top. It's a terrific balance. And they were so understanding about the missing guests -- as we all agreed, the days of ploughing through when you're ill are long since gone and CoVid means you stay home! Thank you Pomegranate! We'll be back sooner rather than later!

Great service and delicious food. We got the banquet menu, where every dish was great. The staff were super welcoming and friendly - very professional and knew their stuff. The food and wine came quickly, and were all very tasty. The only small strange thing was they used the same main plate for all the different dishes - so the fish was mixing with lamb, mixing with the chicken etc. It would have been good to change plates between dishes. Overall - highly recommended
