The Knox Made In Watson

Just one of those visits that was perfect. Lovely service and friendly smiles. Hot fresh delicious food. Ordered the mexcian eggs, beautiful flavours, huge serving and super hot! My only issue with the meal is it comes with a fresh baguette, and with something like this dish it would take it to another level by having it toasted. Other then that, excellent meal and will without a doubt be back. The menu is one of the best looking breakfast menus Ive seen in a while, looking forward to trying the other dishes! Highly recommended. If you have a large group it's smart to book ahead, we got lucky with just 2 of us but the place was packed, always a good sign too!!

Friendly staff, probably the biggest thing to consider when the coffee provided by each cafe in ACT has such good coffee! Busy and wonderfully fitted out. Only place it lost a mark was the cleanliness, could do with a touch up here and there, wicked work from all and the guy running the outdoor seating section was great!

Great local suburban cafe serving all day breakfast. Coffees were excellent, baked eggs packed flavour but a tad small in size. The eggs benedict was amazing. Place has a great vibe, the decor borders on industrial and the open kitchen adds theatre. Wait staff were friendly, courteous and prompt. Highly recommended.

I never like to leave a bad review but was really disappointed by the Knox. We waited 20 mins for 2 pies, which I didn't mind and they were nice enough to apologise as there was confusion with the wait and offered a free Danish. However, when we got home the $8 Pepper Chunky Steak Pies were tiny and filled with gravy and not a single piece of meat. If they weren't so expensive I wouldn't mind as I know it's a really tough time for businesses. Their pies are so delicious but the quality has really dropped and I have been continually disappointed with the quality and slow service of the Knox. Note: I ordered one not long ago and it was still small but at least filled with chunky steak!

I've not been in Knox for a while but it's changed and possibly not for the better since. The food and coffee was good quality but other aspects are important to the cafe experience. The music was deafening on entry. The staff member and myself could not converse due to the volume of music. This really impacted my experience. Previously I could have a meeting here but definitely not now. It's a pity. I wonder who the loud music is for? Personally I don't believe clientele require it.

I had to make a new review! We usually come here to buy their delicious bread, specially the pumpkin one. We also have tried their coffee and it's really good. One thing I was missing was vegan options in their menu, but now they have a vegan menu and the options are very nice. We tried the vegan shrooms and the vegan mushroom burger and we were not disappointed. Will definitely come back to try the other options and as always buy more bread.
