Lovely atmosphere and VERY generous meal portions. The staff were very nice and quick! The Pork ribs were honestly cooked to perfection, but way too much sauce applied which took away from the flavour of the meat. I cant wait to try a steak next time. We will go back.

I really enjoyed my time at this pub and the experience.
I first phoned up to confirm that they could do a takeaway soup order and the staff member was polite and helpful, even went to check with the kitchen.
When I arrived I had a drink while I waited for my food. The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming to all patrons.
This pub is very well run.

Felt nice and warm in a cold day in the capital. Good staffs. Atmosphere was very good. However, I ordered a burger and the taste was bland . It was supposed to be some special crunchy chicken burger but there was no taste on the chicken
and they forgot to put the sauce.🙄

Terrific atmosphere and a lovely meal. Gorgeous little menu for dogs which can be seated outside - my kids would have loved a steak option on the kids menu though. Great location, really easy to get to from our Braddon Hotel, and easy QR code driven menu ordered from the table.

Great pub in the middle of Canberra with an dining area loud with parrots 🦜. Fun atmosphere, great service, great food and I loved my steak 🥩. We had a large group and you order from an online menu but the servers don’t get a name so it takes a while to figure out who gets the plates that come out. Better than all the other pubs we visited in Canberra.

Second time dining here and the food is awesome. I had the Steak, which was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce was to die for. Others ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and Grilled Barramundi. All meals were awesome.

Last time I was at the Civic was 40yrs ago. My sister said why did I want to go to that dive! I said it's been done up sis! Enjoyed the food, the beer, the staff was great. All good value, no diving there!!!! Cheers!

I'm an outgoing of towner and been going for yours. It has a great vibe, good food and great service. The layout is old school, it feels organic and not fancy pants hanging plants organic, it's a pub so go and enjoy going to a pub.
