Da Bronx

I can honestly see why there is so many 5 star reviews for this joint. Excellent pizza and service. Super easy to deal with and lovely service all round. We ordered 2x pizzas, the Empire State ( supreme) & the Wall Street with pineapple ( bbq chicken ). Hot, fresh, massive, delicious pizza. Can't really say to much more, was very impressed. Took a stab in the dark and also ordered a random corndog, had to fight my wife off from eating it all as I can honestly say it was insane how good it tasted for just a standard corndog. Note to self, order more next time!

Kinda expected a bit more buying from da bronx with so many 5 star reviews!!!. I ordered the meat lovers and the chicken supreme. Plus L chips For $26.90 a pizza i felt that the pizzas should have had more toppings but the toppings were only put on sparingly. Some toppings had such little amount and i felt i was eating a vegetarian when having the chicken supreme. And i wonder where all the toppings were on the meatlovers as well as it was only obvious to having pepperoni. The crust was perfect not doughy not too crispy. Dont know if i will come back

What a great pizza joint - staff were so friendly even when obviously very bust on a Saturday night, the pizzas are so big (18 inch). It was a beautiful crust and even though I had The Bronx which has salami, chorizo, shredded beef, cheese and cabanossi there were no oily stains in the bottom of the box so they do a fantastic job with how they make them. I have to say the salami had a bit of a Turkish taste to it but that doesn't mean it was bad by any stretch. Seriously I have to pace myself not to get one there every night they are that good.

I am a regular customer here. I always tell everyone around me about this shop. Today, it was very busy and pizza didn't taste the same. Very dry and not enough toppings. Top of that, they increased the price again. I am happy to see they grow their business but hope they maintain to keep their quality and taste. I am not so sure I will come back again.

If this was a corn dog shop, they would get 5 stars. Hands down. The decor is inviting, slick media, strong colours and very clean. Looks like a winner. However, much like fools gold, something is amiss. Aside from the novelty aspect of their large pizza, the pizza is not worth the entry fee. The barest of toppings, with some pieces only having about 60% of cheese or meat, was a true disappointment, and not consistent with what someone would expect from a $3 supermarket pizza. I would never purchase pizza from here ever again, it's actually worse value than domino/pizzahut (I didn't think that was possible). The fact there are so many 5 star reviews is proof that Canberrans are overpaid and don't value their money over convenience.

Ordered a half/half Times Square & 5th Avenue. Dough - Dense, bland, little salt, little or no yeast activity. Sauce - Bland & minimal. Cheese - Bland, almost flavourless. Minimal application again. Pepperoni - Very little pepperoni. Eggplant & capsicum - Not fresh. Pickled. Juices from the pickles spread across entire pizza. Completely unacceptable to substitute fresh for pickled. Zucchini - fresh, thinly cut, cooked well without burning. Fresh tomato - accounted for most of the topping. Far too moist. All in all did nothing to recommend itself to myself or my American partner. Doesn't live up to the hype.
