Manuka Steak House

Everyone enjoyed their meals, with my partner saying his steak was the best he had eaten in a long time. I had the ravioli which was a good sized serve and very tasty. The only issue we had was that the steak only comes with one side and you need to pay $5 for sauce. We were expecting two sides with sauce included, especially given the price. Steak with chips on a plate is very strange presentation given the price of the meals.

A nice little restaurant, with a cover for about 40-50 people, and a good steak menu on offer. I often heard people asking for Wagyu beef but it wasn't on the menu. Personally, had a meat pasta and it was quite good. Good wine choices as well. 5 star to the service staff as its managed by only 2 people, who also managed the bar between them. Good ambience, nice music and pleasant staff is always a positive.

Mouthwatering steaks at reasonable price in Canberra. A1 hospitality service. Highly recommend this place for strakes or seafoods dinner. I personally love steak and have been there so many times and never disappointed with their food quality and hospitality. If you are in Canberra and craving for steak, you should give it a try.

5/5! If I could give Manuka Steakhouse more stars I would. We got takeaway from here tonight. We got a mixed grill for two, prawn pasta, veggies, sweet potato fries and mushroom sauce. It was all to die for! Especially because we didn’t eat in and got it for takeaway, my partner and I were very, very happy with the quality of the meals (and the steak was cooked to perfection). Thanks Manuka Steakhouse, we will be back.

I'm not going to lie, I walked into Manuka Steakhouse with low expectations. The decor is a little strange, their menus are extremely dated, and their furniture is like something out of a cheap coffee shop. However, the 300 gram Angus Scotch Fillet was perfectly cooked, as was my partners, and they came out quickly. I was fairly let down by everything else though, the wine list was pretty abysmal, no cocktail list at all, and the mashed potato that came with my steak was extremely dry, and the service was chaotic. All in all it wasn't TOO expensive with a meal for two plus a glass of wine each coming out to around $120, but not sure if I'd go again purely based on everything except the quality of the steaks, which again were good.
