Birrigai Cafe

My Ladies group who have Lunch once a Month. Attended Birrigai Restaurant. We found the Menu and food excellent. I had Tasty Pork Scallops great served with crispy steamed fresh vegetables. I had the Lemon tart and Coffee for Desert. We are going to make our Luncheon a permanent one at Birrigai. Great food great service 10/10

Quite a cute little cafe situated very close to Lake Ginninderra within the grounds of the Kangara Waters Lifestyle Community and Care Centre. It provides a convenient rest stop for cyclists, runners and walkers around the lake. Well used by the residents it is often busy and can take a while to be served. The cafe offers a limited range of sweets as well as a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. The best thing is the proximity to the lake. Not ideal for coffee connoisseurs. I’d say 3.5 ⭐️

Simple cafe that is located near Belconnen lake and surrounded by Kangara Waters retirement village. Plenty of indoor and shaded outdoor seating areas. There is no table service though ordering at the counter is simple enough with friendly staff who are eager to please. Good selection of muffins and cakes for a snack and a good menu for a meal. Drinks are the usual selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milkshakes. There is limited visitor parking near the cafe. Alternatively go for a walk around the lake and drop in for a drink and cake or perhaps a meal.
