Great spot for breakfast - I really appreciate how the menu lists dietary requirements and options for swapping. Several vegan options. Really good cold brew coffee. Beer garden out back, tables out front for people watching on Lonsdale St. Friendly staff, and comfy booths.

My hubby and I dined at the Assembly for breakfast this morning and we were both impressed. I like that you can order straight from the table, the food arrived quickly and was delicious (we had the eggs benedict and pesto mushrooms) and our coffees were equally as good.

I had such a lovely afternoon at Assemble. I wanted to find a place where I can do snacking and chill before dinner, and we got a table at the funky and beautiful courtyard with live music. The singer was WoW fabulous, it was really enjoyable to listen to his songs which perfectly matched the pub vibe. The food there was fantastic, we had garlic bread and burgers. I'm definitely going to chill there again when I visit Canberra nest time!!!

Great spot for breakfast with amazing coffee. We sat outside the open kitchen and watched the most amazing chef respect his staff and the wait staff. Amazing synergy. You must try this place out

Great place to catch up with friends for any meal, they serve breakfast brunch lunch fast food options coffee booze you name it, there are tv to watch sports, they open from early morning to late night, pretty much a cafe and a pub combination which is awesome, there is food to everyone satisfaction in the family and friends groups

Went here for breakfast and enjoyed it. Food was very tasty, and decently priced for what you get. Service is great and all the people working were very nice. Only let down was the coffee, which was mediocre, I have definitely had better coffee before. But it was okay considering this isn't a true coffee centric cafe so you can't really expect the coffee to be perfect. Overall a good experience, would recommend it as a tasty brunch spot!

We visited for brunch on a Saturday morning. The pub has an ice decor and polite staff but our food took 45 minutes to come, I think it was forgotten as the table behind us arrived after us but got their food before. It was very busy so they deserve the benefit of the doubt and after we chased it up our meals arrived soon after. When the food arrived it was pretty good and my daughter raved about the strawberry waffle. Coffee was also good. I would recommend this place to others and will be back.

Bright funky, cool place. obviously where the 20-35 years olds go after work. Upmarket Pub, Busy, noisy but full of life. We sat out at the beer garden at the back. Pleasant spot, although chilly in the cooler months. They do have portable gas braziers at every table though. live music - Guy with his guitar, playing in the middle. Nice, but not too loud. Great selection of drinks and beers. But pricey.
