Good outdoor seating with sufficient shade on a hot morning.
Not bad for kids who can run around in a fairly protected space in the square.
Baked goods aren't freshly made but as expected for a coffee chain.

This place used to be pretty decent. The used to sell freshly made sausage rolls. Now I noticed they do frozen ones.
Staff were fairly friendly. Giving a bad review because I walked out empty handed after a long wait.
Came in for a coffee, they were fairly busy, so I was happy to wait a little while. Watched a group of a dozen people who walked in 20 minutes after me start getting served.
Walked out 50 minutes later with no coffee and a pocket full of shrapnel they gave me for a refund.

A very comfortable Cafe to sit down and enjoy a coffee and scones.

I had really prompt service and the shop itself was quite tidy and clean. Coffee was a little burnt but. Not awful I stress, just not a fabulous brew.
There was a lovely selection of cakes and baked goods but I did not try any of these today.

Best coffee shop in Canberra. Iv been a coffee drinker since my teen years. Coffee guru Mawson are the best. Coffee is consistently excellent. Iv been coming here for years and since the new owners took over it has Always been a pleasant friendly experience. All the staff are very friendly.coffee is that good that we often come back twice a day :) highly recommend them.

The “chef” microwaves all the food out of a freezer. Who microwaves a potato rosti?? Much better options around Mawson

Dropped in for a quick coffee and stayed for hours.
The staff treat you as a friend, the coffee is pure Italy.
Before we knew it we were eating healthy hearty food.
The reasonable prices don't reflect the excellent quality of the food.
