Max Brenner Chocolate Bar

Nothing wrong with the food, however customer service seriously poor. Not even busy (late afternoon on a Friday). The staff were rude and more interested in one another than the customers. Me and my friend entered and stood at the register, 3 staff members continue to talk to one another not even acknowledging that we where there for a solid 30 seconds. When we did get served the guy was dismissive and did not even make eye contact. Throughout our time we could hear the employees conversation from across the restaurant despite there being numerous other groups in the room.

Three of us went there today. Two drinks came out and the other didn't arrive. One of the drinks was in a cup that was clearly not washed as there was tissue and discarded paper at the bottom of the drink. Furthermore, trying to get a refund for both drinks was a mission as the lady had to phone someone to find out what to do. I was left standing at the counter for a good 5 - 10min. They were pleasant enough however there could be a health department issue here

Really nice to find this place near the foreshore not so happy they didn't have the melted candy popping shot which is not on the menu and quite a Max Brenner secret but something everyone should always order when visiting. It's a shot of melted chocolate with popping candy and Gummy Bears. Unfortunately the staff could only offer me melted chocolate and Gummy bears so I passed.
