Ha-lu Teishoku

This is a fairly new restaurant. Nice decor. Nice ambience. Very clean. And of course the food is also great! Their sets are good value and the serving size is reasonable. I’ve seen some reviews that their wait staff are slow? But I did not experience this. Their staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a great place to bring your kids and dining with your extended families.

A nice cosy japanese restaurant, great atmosphere and vert relaxing. The chirasi sushi deluxe set comes with assortment of side dishes which taste nice. Their unagi bento set taste good as well. The yakiniku don and the poke sushi according to my daughter taste just ok :). Ordered the yakiniku ala carte which taste as good as the donburi. Not a bad experience all in all but doesn't have that wow factor to make me to consider going back for more. Good little to hangout with your friend if you're in the area.

I've been wanting to go to Ha-lu Teishoku after seeing so many people who went and check it out since it's a new Japanese restaurant in town. I booked online and decided to head to Vic Park for dinner. The restaurant is relatively new in the area. We were welcomed by the staff and showed to the seats. We ordered the Beef Tataki premium set and I ordered the sashimi premium set. I just felt the beef tataki taste wasn't spot on. The cooked onion was a bit too overpowering. I had the sashimi set, the sashimi isn't very fresh to my liking. I was quite disappointed with the buzz about this restaurant. It was overpriced for the item that i ordered. I like the Ha-Lu in Mt Hawthorn way better than this branch that they opened recently. I will not go back to this restaurant at all.

Never been to any of their chains until recently, the one that opened up in Cannington. The place was inviting, warm and friendly staff members. The food was good value and served packed with options. Only reason why I could not give a 5 star, is due to their Waygu Tataki (picture attached) being covered up in dried onions! This had wrecked the flavour of the Waygu and all you could taste was the onions.

I've been to this restaurant a few times now for lunch and dinner. I love it! The staff are very friendly, the service is great and the food is amazing. They do Teishoku (set meals) and ala carte as well. I haven't tried the ala carte as the Teishoku gives you a bit of everything and it's perfect if you don't have a big group of people. With the Teishoku you can choose a "Standard set" or "Premium set". I can recommend both. The Premium set though gives you dishes like pork and duck which are really yum!
