The food was superb. Unfortunately, the wrong dish was served. Curry with octopus was ordered and curry with seafood was served. The ambience is rather below average compared to other restaurants in Cape Town, but compared to Thailand is it top!!!

This is one of the most amazing Thai restaurants in Cape Town. A gem in Little Mowbray. Homely. Humble. Excellent Thai cuisine. You can’t go wrong! Food freshly prepared. Vegetables steamed to perfection.

I ordered the chicken consome to help recover from a bad cold and it was the most delicious I’ve had in South Africa. Although I live quite far, it arrived hot, very well seasoned and a good portion size. Very comforting and nutritious, Highly recommend! The medium spice was not Thai medium, and more mild than you would expect for Thai food, if you like spice, level up!

Taste of Thailand has been an old favorite since pre-covid, around 2017.
I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised to note that their tasty food, good service and great quality has not changed.
I will definitely be back 😄
