We had a really sweet Sunday night at Thorfynns restaurant. The food was super tasty and affordable.
In contrast to the rainy outside, the atmosphere was warm and cozy.
Our waiter was friendly, but not fast. I won't go there if I'm in a rush. Fortunately, time passed quickly while waiting thanks to the treat of live piano music played beautifully from the heart by a guy called Gabriel.
We'll definitely go back again. It's a gem!

Nice gem of a location…had beef curry really enjoyed it… service was a bit slow, it was explained change of staff in the afternoon shift, beautiful views of noordhoek beach..no music, maybe could consider music to add to the atmosphere

Beautiful eco friendly, enjoyed the food too. The lower cottages are extremely cold some heaters don't work.

Stopped for a snack and drink. This place is off the beaten track, but so beautiful. The view is really special. We sat outside and just the view and atmosphere is worth the visit. Staff very friendly. Service was good

Atmosphere was affected by people who are not in control of their pets. I don't have an issue with pet-friendly establishments but people must control their animals. These particular patrons were completely oblivious to the fact that their Great Dane was sniffing on our table begging for food, and the other dog they had was barking its head off at other (mannered) dogs. Unacceptable. Waiters should keep an eye out for that kind of thing or put stricter rules in place. Other than that, we had a lovely evening.

Great view, the best one can get from any restaurant onto Noordhoek beach.
Lots of outside seating, good service and surprisingly reasonable prices make this a really nice experience.
