Mugg & Bean

Thank you to Basheera and Alex who helped to reunite me with my much-loved thermal mug that I left near gate C2 before flying off last week. I phoned, Basheera confirmed that they had it and would send it to the other airport branch, where I got it from Alex. A good excuse for a serious red cappuccino and breakfast! I can taste the care! Yummy!

The Mugg & Bean franchise stands out for its quality, and if you are looking for a restaurant to grab something to eat or drink before your flight and you are flying domestic, then the Mugg & Bean located within the Domestic Terminal at the Cape Town International airport is a great option. The restaurant is spacious with a variety of different seating options catering for smaller as well as larger groups. They have a menu that basically guarantees that everyone will find something they like, and to top it off they have a nice selection of drinks including some local craft beers. Our waiter was also very friendly so overall we had a very good experience.

I went with my family before my sisters flight. The trout bagel was delicious and the chicken and mayo sandwich. I don’t know but I felt there was less chips on the plate. However both were delicious We also ordered scones. I don’t know it was nice but way too less cream, jam and butter that it’s was mostly dry and I left the crusts of the scones. Look at that presentation of cream on the plate- poorly done It was busy but not overly packed. For some reason our waiter was working all over the place rather than having a designated section which resulted is always looking for Elias. We asked him for a side plate which was never brought so service is something that definitely can be improved I would come again just because I love mugg and bean franchise but if the service and food is the same the next time I don’t think I would come to this branch
