Cotage Fromage

I have eaten theirs cheese for years, but this is the first time visiting. A small little farm shop in every sense of the word. You can smell the cows as you walk in, it's great, feels like a real farm. Small shop with some great products. Cheese, of course, but also crackers, snacks and fresh dairy products The best fresh pasture raised full cream milk. Fresh and sweet. Definitely worth the visit. PS. You'll get the cheese for much cheaper than at retailers or neighbouring farms

Proud to say I met the owners and know them very well now, and I can assure that they are wonderful people with great vision and dedication to their business/farm. They have a hard working team and take great care of the dairy cows they have as well. While their cheese is the star, they have amazing products beyond just cheese- jams, serving platters, crackers and more. If you get the chance, try to take a walk around the area as well, lovely scenery. Loved my time here and loved the food! P.S. they have many notable awards and have been highly ranked as one of the best cheeses in the world!

Dalewood Fromage is a boutique cheese and dairy farm. Wow, what a gem, of the beaten track and almost hidden from the main routes, but definitely worth the visit. We bought a few cheese platters for 2, affordable, great quality and the best was the pairing. They courier to all the major centers and we will definitely order our cheese from them in the future. A must when you are in Cape Town
