New and improved. The new store has all the yummy, delicious, delectable foods like the original. Freedom Place Bakery has its name SPOT on! They should be called Heavenly Bakery. This Bakery gives you the freedom to eat and enjoy the most delicious, healthy, sugar-free, banting, friendly, and gluten-free products without feeling guilty. The owner and staff always go out of their way to give you the best experience when you order your meal to sit down or take away. Small special elegant touches get added. Most foods are made with coconut flour and xylitol, so all foods are gluten friendly, diabetic and vegan friendly. Many different foods are available such as: muffins, cakes, croissants, scones, sandwiches, pies, rusks, brownies, banana bread, buns, hotdog rolls, cookies and these are only some of the delicous pastries and bread products. They have homemade coleslaw made with coconut mayonnaise. Come and spend a braai day with them or go for lunch and get some beautiful homemade jewelry. Hope they stay forever 🙏💙

Parking is convenient and it is good because it is a facility for children of various ages can play. The food is delicious, too. When I visited, there were three or four birthday parties, so it was very crowded. There was no place to sit, so I stood and watched the child for a while. I went to a cafe and ordered food and drinks because they didn't go well on the table. I fully understand because there was very very busy. Normally, I was satisfied with the service and there was no problem. The weekend is very very busy.

Unfortunately they weren't properly open when I visited there. I went there specifically to buy some vegan cakes and biscuits. The chef was not in that day, so there were no vegan cakes. However they were vegan biscuits in abundance. I bought two packets of biscuits. Both are vegan. They are sugar free and use xylitol instead. The biscuits a very good value. They taste great but as with most confectionery, it's best not to overdo it in one go. Will be back for more biscuits and perhaps some vegan cake as well next time time.

First time visit to The Freedom Place which is situated on the corner, in Main Road, Die River opposite the Pet Place. It was on closing time, but they accommodated me for an Americano and a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie. The cake was super delicious, fresh and just so filling. They have a variety of cakes, cupcakes, which are so huge, biscuits, breads, etc. Will definitely go back again as they serve breakfast and lunch daily.

Friendly and professional staff, food delicious and healthy, setting and seating indoors and outdoors. Kiddies play area has a few live animals (rabbits, fish and birds....very creative) I love the serene atmosphere with the waterfall in the corner. Now with an added sushi bar. Wonderful place to go to for early breakfast.
