The Nob

Mistake of not making a booking, but front of house was very accommodating. The burgers were great. Buns soft and fresh. Perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. Patties are juicy and meaty. Fries were over salted. Needs better chairs as they are not comfortable at all. Was offered high chairs, but again not most comfortable.

When doing a review I try to be as objective as possible. The question on hand would be what their initial concept or idea was. Was it to offer the largest tasty burger possible at a fair price or was it to serve the most exquisite gourmet burger? If I was going to pay R140 for a burger I would probably want something really special ... size wouldn't be that important. I was thus not disappointed nor overwhelmed with the taste of their huge burger .... that I couldn't finish. Nothing wrong with this good meal and definitely a bucketlist experience that can be recommended.

What do you do on a Saturday afternoon when you are hungry,but are looking for something different that the regular fast food places?? You go to the Nob. Atmospheric,relaxing, affordable and a stunning view. The 16cm Burger is a winner, WOW And tasty. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different. Stunning.

I had the 16cm patty Breakfast burger(R140) with an additional side of fries(R30). Their burgers definitely did not disappoint, it was loaded with toppings and absolutely delicious. The burgers are much bigger than you'd think. They wrap the burgers in foil so that you don't spill anything on yourself or the table, so you don't have to worry about making a mess while you eat. The waiter(Golden) was very friendly and checked on me regularly. The atmosphere is very chilled and they have nice background music. I highly recommend everyone to come here atleast once, I know for a fact that I'll be back. They are situated write next to the water so you have an excellent view while you enjoy your meal.
