Small cheese platter and ploughman's... Both very good and so much on there! Great vfm. Even bought one of the cheeses we hadn't previously tried 😮

Took a few friends here to introduce them to some Welsh dishes. The Rarebit was very good and filling. Loads of craft beers available in the fridge. Welsh cheeses and tasty treats also available. Staff are friendly and attentive. Popular spot so you’ll probably have to queue on the weekends.

I had a plate with camenbert and a lamb soup. Both were amazing! I want to visit Cardiff again just because of this place. You need to pay at the counter and tell them the table number.

So after visiting Paris last month, wanted a gentle reminder of France and visited Madame Fromage with my partner.
The place is brilliantly set out in a old Victorian arcade with plenty of seating, but be prepared to wait during busy times... it’s worth the wait tho!
Highly recommended and have been back twice since

Google told me this was the place to go for a Welsh rarebit (open faced grilled cheese sandwich). A simple dish, with the option top add bacon. Because the shop has gourmet cheese, I doubt you'll find a better rarebit. There's the option to eat outside in the covered arcade, which feels like outdoor seating.

What can I say, Madame Fromage just never fail you. You can come here for a hearty rarebit after a night of drinking or a bowl of cwal in a rainy day, it just make you feel joyful. Very friendly staff and great outdoor seating for people watch. The red devil cheese is also my favorite.

Cute little cheese cafe with great service and amazing food. Welsh rarebit soooo yum!! We also got the Welsh lamb cowl and sweet potato soup (both specials of the day). Safe to say there were no leftovers!

Details in the shop, details in the produkts, details in the outlook. A shop-cafe to sit and to relax, to buy and to eat, to chill out and to wonder. The menu had a nice variaty of small dishes. Staff very, very friendly, showing the atmosphere of Madame Fromage.

The deli was very pretty with amazing section of of Welsh and French cheeses. Service was great. They were very cooperative towards our preferences in regards to cheese boards. Also, amazing value. For the quality and the size of those platters, they are very cheap.

One of the best lunches I've had in the U.K. The portions were large and reasonably priced and there was a good deli variety on the menu. My partner had the cawl (he's very particular about his food) and loved it! I had the Goats cheese/pesto tartlet. Came with a large colourful tasty side salad and red onion marmalade. There were so many delicious flavours but they all worked well together. For afters, we had the Malteasers cake for dessert (to share), also delicious. Great service and staff were lovely.
