Fantastic querky little cafe, perfectly placed to visit after a walk around Castle Coch .

Really good went there to celebrate a friends birthday, bit rustic but food was really good

Owner is really funny and warm welcoming
We sat with our dog and they provided plasters to my girlfriend which was really handy
I had the homemade mushroom and Stilton soup, incredible it was
Location is amazing so peaceful and surrounded by trees. Good prices too

A little gem of a place! Perfect post dog walking stop for coffee and cake. Apparently the Sunday roast is very popular too!

Lovely rustic cafe in the woods-with a really nice relaxed vibe, just around the corner from entrance to castle Coch. Great if out with your dog- lots of surrounding walks & plenty of outdoor seating.
There is also a small carpark next to the cafe.
We had coffee which was good & our kids had a large , takeaway coffee cup filled with ice-cream - much to their delight!!
Will definitely return to explore the woods!

Such a warm welcoming place, staff were lovely. Toasties chips and coffees were perfect. Ralph (sphynx) loved the doggy ice cream and enjoyed the warmth of the log burner. We will.be visiting again.

Been here twice, probably a year apart.
The food, service, and atmosphere were just as good as the first time.
You must try the chips they are really good.
Good food at a reasonable price.
With a nice warm fire to keep you warm on a cold, rainy day.

Lovely coffee shop/cafe with welcoming staff and Log burner. Parking a challenge when busy, as is access up short single track but worth it.

Had afternoon tea here. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of food to eat and left full!
Being a vegetarian, they went out of their way to accommodate me.

Great place that's tucked away in the woods, very close to Castell Coch. Good coffee & food with table service. Gluten free options and the prices are good too. I had the bacon and egg sandwich on toasted gluten free bread. Sensational Sunday dinners. Best to book for this. Very rustic so wear your wellies and it's dog friendly. Good for kids. Toys inside of it's raining and animals outside to see. Right on the walking trails as well.
