Cote Cardiff Bay

Was looking for a nice place to eat after swimming today with my partner and our experience here took a good day and made it even better. The food was exceptionally good from start to finish. We ordered 3 courses from the fixed menu and don’t have a bad word to say about any of it. Best food we’ve had in a while. On top of that the servers were lovely and welcoming. It was just an overall great experience. Thank you.

A great location in Cardiff Bay. Limited parking outside but, there's multistorey carparks to the front and rear of Roald Dahl Plass. Seating was spacious and the atmosphere for. There's a comprehensive menu and good drinks selection, however I found the alcoholic beverages considerably more expensive than similar restaurants. The food arrived in good time and fantastic quality. There's a compulsory 10% service charge added to the bill which isn't good for those on a budget and people don't notice this will add additional tips. Overall not a disappointment and I will visit again. I'm my opinion 8/10.

I hadn't heard of Côte before going here, I was really impressed with how the restaurant looked online before going. Côte definitely lived up to expectations and was an amazing place to have a first date with my partner. The atmosphere was very nice and formal, the food was quite good (although I weren't a big fan of the vegetarian meal I had), and the service was tremendous - the waiters were great!

lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. the staff took food allergies very seriously and were sure to confirm the person with the allergy were aware of trace amounts etc. the french bread was delicious and the butter was so good ! overall the food was pretty good and the portions were very generous, i would say the only let down was the french onion soup, but otherwise everything was tasty and flavourful. for dessert, the praline crepe and the creme caramel were delicious! overall a pleasant experience and i would recommend visiting
