Went for a family Sunday Roast on Easter Sunday for 6 at 12.30pm. booked in advance and the table was reserved for us when we arrived. A selection of starters mains and desserts were on the menu. We went for mains only. Those who selected the carvery (beef/lamb) were happy with the quality and amount of food. Plenty of veg too on a sharing platter for the table. Those who asked for the vegetarian dish were disappointed - more of a cranberry tart than any veg (I think they mentioned it was a butternut squash tart). Most of us were too full after to order anything for dessert. You order and pay at the bar before eating and go and help yourself to condiments. Staff were cordial. It got very busy while we were there and they were turning people away so we were glad we booked. Overall a pleasant reasonable Easter Sunday meal.

My two children and I came here today for Sunday lunch. I had a roast with beef and my kiddies 8 and 10 had the children’s roast with chicken. The beef was just lovely! The vegetables were cooked really well. The kiddies portions were really really generous too. Extremely good value for money. The staff as always were super friendly and accommodating as I hadn’t reserved a table. The food wait time was perfect and the atmosphere inside just lovely for a Sunday afternoon. We were not rushed to leave at all. I even managed to get some work done whilst the kiddies played in the outside park. I will definitely be back and I would recommend it to families for Sunday lunch.
