An old-fashioned warm comfortable pub to enjoy a traditional pint. My wife and I like coming to this pub. One of the few traditional pubs to enjoy a pint in. I can't score the food because I didn't eat here.

Lovely traditional style pub playing a great play list. We visited during a downpour afternoon midweek, so it was quiet but great vibe. Has screens up subtly places for those interested in the sports but doesn't have a sports bar vibe.

Brilliant pub by mermaid quay. Popped in for what was meant to be an hour after a Chinese but ended up staying til the end. The people were friendly and felt like a regular and the staff were great as it's the first time I've ever been here. It's a good proper pub in the heart of the bay if you want to get away from the snobbery and expensive prices of the other bars.

One of the last proper traditional boozers left in Cardiff! Recently been taken over by a lovely landlord who has given it new life! So welcoming, clean, tidy with a lively atmosphere! Drinks are a great price too! Will defo be going more often!

A (mostly) ungentrified pub with a good choice of beverage and lots of big screens, which made it a comfortable place to watch sport and enjoy our evening. The ladies behind the bar do a great job. Recommended.

Our initial stop was to get of the rain.
To our surprise the heating was on and we were able to dry out. A good range of beer, larger and cider was available together with friendly welcoming staff encouraging us to stay for the afternoon.
We didn't have food.
