Terra Nova Cafe

Love this cafe. It’s so friendly, so helpful, stunning views. All staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, the pizzas are divine and their bacon sarnies after a walk round the lake. Super clean and perfect service. Took my mother in law and sister in law for lunch and they both loved it. Served by lovely Jan who was incredibly friendly. What a beautiful place. I’ve also taken my husband in there before, he is in a wheelchair and the staff were super helpful and great access. Thanks so much, highly recommend.

One of the most aesthetic places I've been to at Cardiff. Situated right next to Roath lake you get to have a lovely view of the lake and the swans. The staff was great and the coffee and cake I had came up to £6.6 so it was reasonably priced. I had a cappuccino which was decent however the carrot cake I had was kinda of bland and hard to eat. The icing was hard and basically fell apart when I tried to eat it. I'm definitely coming again but will get myself a sweet treat elsewhere! A must go for a relaxing afternoon Coffee/Tea after a good stroll in the park.

Another fantastic visit to the Terra nova cafe to be in a great atmosphere and around the fantastic staff that always give an amazing service. Sampled the breakfast menu this time and blown away by the quality of the food, the price was amazing. Would I return ? 100 percent yes, I only wish I lived closer to be able to enjoy the breakfast menu more and more

Visited today. Simply wonderful in every way. Staff are helpful and friendly, food is reasonably priced and delicious. It’s a very welcoming place, today there were lots of parent with children, buggies, elderly, dogs. Dogs were barely noticeable because they were all well behaved and under control. I only noticed because I actively looked.

Nick and the staff were so helpful in letting me film inside the cafe for a university assignment! It was a spontaneous request and they were all very accommodating. A staff member helped as an actor and added a perfect touch to the story. The atmosphere is lovely looking into the lane and the cauliflower rosti afterwards for lunch was delicious with a divine vegan carrot cake and perfect cappuccino! Thanks so much! I highly recommend
