Elements Restaurant - Cardiff

Recently stayed there for a very special occasion, celebrating my birthday with a friend. They even sang Happy Birthday to me. The stay was memorable since before we arrived. The location is amazing and the hotel is very cosy. The team was always very helpful and welcoming. A great shout out to Sarah who checked us in and Barbara at the bar. A great thank you for Alfredo, the GM, who made us feel special. The whole team was great. It was an unforgettable stay. I definitely recommend and I will for sure return. Thank you

We booked this trip as part of my husbands 60th celebrations, as we were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert nearby. From the check in process, Megan was absolutely fabulous! After mentioning it was my husbands birthday she upgraded our room, arranged a birthday cake & a complimentary drink. The room was very spacious with a large screen TV, & gorgeous bathroom. The city centre was approximately a 10 minute walk away, which was brilliant. There is a bar/restaurant just off the reception area. The staff in the bar area were also lovely, namely Anthony. The breakfast staff again were all very helpful. The breakfast offered was superb, from cereals, cold meats, full hot breakfast to make your own pancakes! A truly fantastic stay, & a definite to return!

This hotel, a short 15 minute walk to Cardif Central Station, is a perfect mixture of great location, local feel, friendly vibes, and up to date decor. We had a lovely swim in the pool, followed by a soak in the hot tub. Even the maintenance staff greet you with a smile and a little chat if that's what you are in to. David and Megan's help at the front desk and Lit's warm smile in the morning at the buffet are a great way to start your day. I cannot say enough about the staff at The Custom Shed restaurant on site. Here goes some well deserved shout outs: Holly, Adebola, Catia Anthony, Barbara, Joyce and Joseph the Chefs who are so accommodating in the kitchen. We spent a week there and felt comfortable asking for what it was we needed because the staff was always there to ask. They even gave us an extra box for my daughter to mail something! Would very much recommend for a real great Cardiff experience!!!

I have been working and staying in the hotel all week. The friendly and helpful attitude of all the staff has been lovely and makes my job so much easier. Breakfast time is my favourite time in the hotel. I have eaten very well every day and the breakfast chef has the warmest and most infectious smile. She was so grateful when I complemented her scrambled eggs! (They have been perfect every morning).

We stayed here. 3 years ago. And couldn't wait to return. Great staff. Especially LIT in the kitchen(restaurant assistant) great smile. Friendly and helpful and rescued my blue jacket. I didn't even know I lost. So he remembered my face out of everyone there. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. I don't ever sleep that well. The customs shed food is fair priced and delicious. And the pool is great. Friendly and great staff all around. My favorite hotel. Will recommend to everyone. Thankyou

We had a short city break at the hotel. Since the British weather is unstable we had the chance to enjoy the nice wellness, warm pool, sauna and jacuzzi when it was raining outside. I only wish there were more seating as we had a baby and finding a seat at some hours was impossible. Other than that, everything was great and the staff was polite and helpful. For sure we will return for another city break.

Trying to speak with anyone about your stay is difficult, the heating wasn't working and I think my mum left something in the room I keep being told someone will call me back but no one has things seem lovely but actually customer service could be improved upon. Toilets could be cleaner, heating not working evidence now from reading these reviews sadly these factors are the norm ...it could be so good ?

Nice hotel. Expensive car park. I thought it was free.... sign as you enter says £4 per hour! Nice pool. Came on a Sunday and there were public swimming lessons taking place. Hot tub, steam room and sauna all available to use. There's a gym on site too. Good size rooms with TV and hot drink making facilities. Quiet rooms, didn't really hear any outside noise. Customs shed restaurant downstairs serving tasty food and a big buffet breakfast area at reasonable prices.
