Amazing no fuss, family run pub. Good vaule Sunday lunch

A great pub, good beer and food, fabulous service and a great atmosphere. Live music and quiz night are a must.

Only went there for a drink, so can't say anything about the food.
Service was good and a friendly barman. It was quite with only half a dozen people there, but it was only 3.30pm lol

We love the railway. Always a lovely atmosphere and we especially love coming up when it is sunny to sit in the beer garden.

This place has been transformed by Sam and Ian and is now a hub for the local community. Pub quizzes, plant sales, philosophy in the pub, open mike nights, comedy nights, local choir, carol singing at Christmas. The pub quizzes are the best I've ever been too and the food is great!

Really nice hot roast and beautiful fish and chips for my daughter :-)
My only qualm was the paying at the end of it as I had to remember what we had
She told me she would ring it through the till as it hadn’t been recorded previously which seemed odd
But.. it was still delicious x
