Wild Thing

It's not often you come across a restaurant that makes healthy food so tasty and sophisticated. I'm not a vegetarian but I don't like meat products that much. The ambience is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. More importantly, the food is still very good even though they change the menu seasonally.

Absolutely wonderful. Have been feeling a lack of wholesome vegan food in the clamour of junk food vegan options. Wild Thing creates real vegan food as I would make at home. Fabulous ingredients, divinely eclectic flavours. We will be back. This place has a wondrous, compassionate, community-oriented ethos and a relaxed, unpretentious vibe, where everyone feels welcomed and included. Thank you!

Cosy, calm, friendly cafe with yummy food supporting local businesses. It was a really chilly day when we visited and the tables were lit with candles and festive foliage. We enjoyed the Christmas sandwich with a homemade patty/stuffing & cranberry sauce and a slice of chocolate cake to share. Highly recommend this place of you are in the area. 😁👍💗

Lauren, Becky, Anna and the team catered our wedding and it was absolute perfection. From the initial contact to meeting to discuss our ideas with the chef and Becky’s wonderful menu proposals, to the delivery and set up on the day, we couldn’t have imagined a better experience. The food from Wild Thing is simply delicious and innovative, all the little thoughtful touches and presentation were beautiful and the cake was one of the best we ever had. Every guest commented on how delicious everything was and we had so much food to last us all day and night, plus plenty for the following days and for doggie bags for our guests. The price was certainly far more reasonable than we would find elsewhere, not that we wanted to look elsewhere, as we knew from the first contact that these were the people who we wanted to cater our wedding. The catering was for 15 people and the photos below don’t even show all of the food, there was a whole other table full of entirely delicious, creative and beautiful food. Oh. My. Gosh. What an amazing place! The atmosphere is hip and laid back, a real Earth-conscious hippie vibe. There are plants everywhere, the decor is eclectic and funky, and the staff are friendly and laid back. The food is incredible! It's all home made and plant based. It's absolutely beautiful! So tasty and felt great to be supporting such a wonderful local business. Great food, great coffee, great desserts, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Brilliant vegan cafe!!! Yes the place is a bit grungy but the food is tasty and the staff are lovely. We loved how engaged with the community the cafe is and it was brilliant to see people dropping off their produce. The coffee is also better than it needs to be and there are good gluten free options.
