Jakir was an amazing and proud host! Not only was the service tops his food was literally the best Indian I’ve ever eaten. You know it will be good Indian when the naan is perfection. Everything was super fresh and flavoursome. The Chicken korma and beef Marsala was super tender and delicious. Would I recommend spice Boys? 💯 percent, especially when Handley any other restaurant in open on Mondays in the Shire!

One Star rating purely for adding $2.00 extra to our bill because “things are getting expensive now”. After I stated that the curry was $16.90 advertised in menu, she attempted to negotiate with me “ok, $1.00 less” Again, I said no because I want to pay for what is priced in the menu. She then tried asking if she could round off our whole bill to $26 than $25.80, I was stunned. Still said no, I’d like to pay the correct price. She said “ok, ok, $25.80” and entered it into the eftpos machine. I got home and realised she’d charged me $25.90… Hope the one star review and non returning customer was worth the sneaky 10 cent steal.

We ordered $170 worth of food from here. We were very disappointed with what we received. Firstly, the delivery was late and without notice. We ordered a Lamb Korma and a Beef Saag. Both the meals contained the exact same meat which from the opinion of 6 people was actually Corned Beef. The flavour was unbelievably salty. Replacing meats in these meals is very dangerous, especially considering we had a pregnant lady eating the meals. We contacted Spice Boys directly to voice our concerns and were given a generic response and no offer of refund or credit. The attached photo is of the two “different” meats.

A huge thank you is in order for the outstanding hospitality Zakir and Lily provided to my family. Zakir cooks fresh dishes to order all by himself, with the likes of Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta and Bengali specialties. The food is outstanding, especially with garlic cheese naan. Not only that, but Zakir and Lily treated us like we were family, and the experience felt as if we were in their home! Amazing service, amazing people, amazing food. Thanks Zakir and Lily!
