Casa De Bandini

Well, I would really like to give this place a 5⭐️ Review. However, I just can’t justify anything more than 2⭐️ when the food comes out barely warm. Verde Cheese enchilada and Chile relleno have a great flavor, however the cheese is solid in both items. My mom ordered a burrito, and it was just warm as well. My sister ordered Gluten Free tacos & enchiladas, but they brought her regular. Our waiter resubmitted the order, and her plate came out steaming hot. So, while the flavor was good, the food wasn’t made to order, and it did not come out hot. One extra star for the drinks.

I love this place! Remembering the old location in Old Town, but this Carlsbad location is still super fun. It's really really big and despite the huge number of patrons the food always comes out hot and delicious. The service is always super friendly, and of course the margaritas are massive. We had the chicken fajitas and shrimp tacos

I don't eat a lot of Mexican food because it's normally cheap quality and super greasy. This on the other hand, was not. You definitely get your money's worth at this place. I have memories of coming here as a kid everytime we would come down to CA for vacation and so coming back was very nostalgic. I loved it then, and I love it now. The flavor of my carnitas was off the hook. They give you fresh tortillas, and plenty of toppings. The meat was so juicy and so flavorful. Everything that was brought to our table was super good and I didn't try anything that I regretted. If your ever in the area, Casa De Bandini is a must try. Also, there's a mall right next to the restaurant that you can shop in while you wait for a table. They text you when your tables ready so you can leave and then come back, which is really convenient on Friday nights when it's so busy. For a restaurant that has the ability to offer authentic Mexican food, this place misses is the spot. First of all, the place is gorgeous. The decor and the ambiance is why this restaurant received 3 🌟 review. The food is less than average for the price The quantities are small, the service is inattentive, and and prices should be knocked down a few bucks. Food wise, there was little to nothing that made me go WOW. This place is really depending on the looks of the interior and exterior dining areas. Additionally, it is conveniently located around other shops in the outdoor mall so it is a good place to eat if you get hungry whole shopping. If you want go here, go because it is convenient, not because you are expecting great service and/or food. Oh, and also make sure you have money for the pricey menu items.
