Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Out of all of the Tropical Smoothie locations that I have patronized, this one is the worst. The employees do not greet you, it almost feels as if you are a bother. I waited over 20 minutes for my smoothie. I also ordered a chicken wrap and received it over 40 minutes after placing my order. They were placing smoothies and food on the counter without calling out names. There were several frustrated customers during my visit. I will drive the extra few miles to go to the next one because they are friendly and efficient:

Employees have horrible attitudes don’t even acknowledge or speak to you when you come in. Food is consistently cold and smoothies are watery. You could walk in at 8:30am and get the rudest vibe. If you ask for smoothie or food to be remade the attitude gets worse. Definitely would go to smoothie king down the street

Please refer to other reviews about the poor customer service from the employees there. There are 2 kids who work there that almost scoff at you for any order, or any question about the app/rewards member. They are consistently out of Blueberries! In my 6 years of going to Tropical Smoothie Cafes around the area, not one store has been out of Blueberries, and that too on a consistent day-to-day basis. The 2 kid employees there make you feel so nervous to approach ordering. They look at you dead in the face, without greeting you, and just expect you to place an order. How standoff-ish and outrageous? I'm genuinely not trying to be a Karen - assumed it was just a bad day. But it happened 2 separate days. Tl;dr do not endorse this location. Listen to the other reviews about customer service. The other RTP locations are way better, friendlier and of higher quality. Disappointment they take up that prime real estate.

Ordered the avocolada smoothie, a couple of chicken wraps (pic included), and a quesadilla. The quesadilla came with a strand of hair in the melted cheese. The staff was good about it. I just walked up and showed them the strand and they quickly took care of it. They seemed to really feel badly about it.

Workers at this establishment are rude and racist I walked in and stood at the counter for a good five minutes. No greeting, but they did see me standing there. When another woman walked in after me an employee didn’t hesitate to welcome her. Refused to give me an order that I was delivering because I was early. So because I’m just a DoorDash worker, picking up an smoothie for someone else….I don’t deserve acknowledgment. Ridiculous.

02/21/2022 - Update to our last review, just tried this TSC again, ordered 3 breakfast wraps, in all 3 the eggs were ICE COLD!! How disappointing that this cafe cares so little for their customers to serve food this way. Our previous review is here--> When picking up several smoothies to go, how hard is it to MARK THE SMOOTIES so we know which one is which? We should not have to pass the smoothies around our family to "taste test" to figure out which one is which. Other TSC's mark the smoothies when you are picking up multiple, however, this location never does. Ugh. Time to go to Smoothie King instead.
