Nestle Toll House

When I got to the counter I placed my order with a male server. The server was talking on phone via Bluetooth. Red flag. I ordered one peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. He handed me the bag, I opened it, and I pulled out a plain peanut butter cookie while at the counter. I put the cookie back in the bag and told him he gave me the wrong cookie. He took the peanut butter cookie and PROCEEDED TO PUT IT BACK ON THE TRAY FOR RESALE after I touched it! I tried to stop him, I told him I touched the cookie, but he continued. COVID is no joke and this worker clearly doesn't care about health, cleanliness, and potentially spreading Disease. Would not recommend!

Nestle Toll House counterperson: “What can I get you?” Husband: “Hi! We were wondering if your ice cream has egg in it?” Counterperson: “I dunno” Husband: “This little guy [gestures to our two year old son] has an egg allergy.” Counterperson: [blank stare] Husband: “Do you mind checking?” Counterperson: “I don’t know how to do that. I’m just an employee.” Husband: “There’s not a list of ingredients on the containers or anywhere in the store?” Counterperson: “I mean ... I’m just an employee. I don’t know” Me: “Okay. We need to go somewhere else.”
