Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-b-que

Ordered online for curbside pickup. This is not curbside pickup. Had a walk to a canopy set up in parking lot to pick up food. Employees were scurrying and there was no organization. People before me had been waiting 25 minutes. We waited approximately 10 minutes to get food. Got home to find food was cool and brisket overcooked and not tender as it usually is. Rollls were not even warm. Would not order on-line again from here.

Good experience to me because that was a first time eating American Style BBQ. Certainly, it is enough to me, American Style BBQ must be tasting so good, however, this time was not so good to me. About a beef rib, there is nothing to eat and too much burned. Pork rib is almost same. Diced brisket bbq is too much fat. Those three menus are too dry for me. Sliced brisket is good taste.

Baby back ribs were really over done. They were like beef jerky on the top. The beef ribs were delious. Meaty and peeled off the bones. We ordered 1/2 a dozen biscuits. They were hard as rocks like they were last week's. It's been awhile since I've been to the Cerritos location but thought it sounded good tonight. It must be hard to plan a daily menu without knowing how many customers to plan for. So I'm going to let this bad meal take out slide, in hopes that the next time I go it will be the famous Lucille's BBQ I'm a custom to enjoying. As far as the money we spent, chalk it up as a donation, trying to keep good restaurants alive.

Terrible, watery pulled pork. Cold, old-tasting ribs... SUCH a waste of my hard-earned money. 😔 BUT... the service was EXCELLENT!!!👌Very personable server. Didn't catch her name, but she had green eyes and a GREAT attitude and menu memory!!! But, again, truly terrible food. The Lucille's in West Covina is FAR superior to this one. Spend your money there!! 👎
