Pita Pit

Pretty good for fast food Mediterranean. I work in Cerritos and there aren't many quick, easy places to grab a bite. I was burnt out on the usual fare so I found this place. I placed my order online through their website - a custom salad with gyro meat, hummus and tzatziki along with fresh veggies. The food wasnt overwhelming flavorful, but pretty good. The staff were all very friendly when I arrived, the restaurant was clean and bright, reminded me of Subway because all the ingredients are on display. Overall I was happy with my lunch though I'll probably order extra meat next time.

The people working here know what they're doing. Even when I came in one day when there was a new girl training, the guy in charge (you could clearly tell he was in charge, his professionalism stood out immediately, and in the off chance if wasn't in charge, he should be) was extremely helpful to the new girl so she wouldn't get overwhelmed with what was going on. I had a pretty large order and you could tell she was still learning the system. Unlike other impatient customers, I understood what she felt, I've been there before, and the way the guy was there for her every step of the way made me feel great about choosing this place for dinner for what seemed like the millionth time. Fantastic place, great people, amazing food. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Service was wonderful! Place was super clean, well organized and restrooms were clean as well. Cooked to order and add your toppings. Price was steep for the pita wrap though.$8 for just the wrap. It seems large but it's all gonna depend on the veggies you get. I had about. 25% gyro meat and 75% lettuce and veggies. Gyro meat could've been more flavorful. Unfortunately I had very strong and pungent raw onions that had to be picked out. An OK meal, I may go again and try another filling!

The food's always fast, fresh, and delivered with friendly service. I've never had a bad dish here and everyone who works here is always extremely courteous. I don't know if it's a family operation or not but the people who work there take a lot of pride in what they do. I recommend stopping in here. Whether you get the Buffalo Chicken, the Dagwood, the Gyros, or anything else, it's going to be all good.

I like this place! They have a choice of gyro, which is a combination of beef and lamb, shaved into slices and freshly grilled into your pita or salad. Chicken is available, too. You can go to the toppings bar and request fresh veggies to be grilled with your order of meat and they will grill it at no extra cost. Grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers, whatever you ask for, included! Yummy dressing as well. Reasonable price!!
