Excellent Shabu Taste & Experience.
PROS: The staff was kind and patient. The menu was to the point, with many selections and items. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. It was well organized, as it was brought out in pieces, with all the steps of Shabu. And top it off, the alcoholic beverages are great.
CONS: As with any excellent and tasty Shabu establishment, be prepared to spend a pretty penny (save up), but that isn't to say it's not worth it. And, the parking can be a little busy given all the delicious restaurants nearby so just plan ahead and be patient.
Will be coming back for another date night. Thank you for a lovely experience. 👍👍

Food is great! We always end up leaving stuffed. Wifey had the beef bone and I had the tum yum. So delicious. Service is hit or miss. Could use better organization and awareness.

Eating at Yuzu is always a pleasure. We usually have the Shabu with beef and the vegetables. I prefer the mildly spicy pork bone broth and the short rib meat; whereas my husband prefers the lean Angus beef. He'll order a Kirin and I enjoy the Yuzu drop cocktail 🍸. When you go, make sure you have an appetite because it's a lot of food!

I was highly disappointed during my first visit to this place. I was there on 5/23/22, at about 730pm. Under the Quick Menu options, I ordered the Vegetarian while my nephew ordered the All You Can Eat. I was told that everyone in the group had to order the All You Can Eat option because it made "It easier for them." I informed her that I do not eat meat, she did not seem to care. The menu nor the restaurant lists any disclaimers about this silly policy. I have never been told that everyone in my group had to order the same thing. As a customer I should not be informed of what I should order because of what is "Easier for them!" Highly unprofessional, unethical and simply improper. Now I see why there was no wait! Lazy staff. Try BROTH next time! No childish policies!

The food was actually good.
The service however, was complete trash. I don’t know who our server was, never saw the guy who started our order ever again. Trying to get more water or even to order more food was a huge hassle, especially for the server whose friends were sitting at the table next to us. We asked her for help and she had a huge attitude, and the other servers seemed upset that we would ask for more water or more anything - we were paying for premium all you can eat... definitely didn’t get as much food as I would’ve wanted to because when we tried to order more it never came. Had to ask 3 different people for a check, then waited another 20 minutes for someone to take the check - because I finally decided to wave it in the air. I don’t care how good your food is, if you treat your customers like they aren’t good enough to eat the food they pay for, you don’t deserve to have customers.
Will NEVER go back.

They seem to be handling the Covid situation as well as they can. Lots of outside seating on the side of restaurant. Service was much better than I recall. Very attentive and checked up on us frequently for extra broth, sauces and water. Quality of the dry aged prime rib was awesome and tasted great. It did cost $6 more when ordering the dinner for two, but worth it. We didn’t enjoy the premium angus as much and will likely try and American wagyu or short rib next time. In fact, I think if you want to save $6, those two should be your choices. As for the broth, my kimchi broth was a bit flavorless. The heat was there as i ordered atomic, but tasted like kimchi is hot water. Good enough for dipping, but I like to eat the soup as much as the meat sometimes. If you like veggies, the great part is the kimchi serves as extra cabbage. The Tom yum and spicy miso was better if you like soup. The other thing they don’t do is substitute veggies (they said it was due to the pandemic, but they didn’t accommodate that well before the pandemic either) and I didn’t see any tofu in our plate, which is a fave of mine but other than that a solid place to get you shabu fix and as important than ever is to support small business during the pandemic.

Been a customer forever. Impromptu decided to drive 15 min there for lunch. Even though I’m fully vaccinated, but didn’t have “proof” to their satisfaction, was not allowed in. Yuzu… you lost a customer and any other customer I would recommend and perhaps will now lose some business because of this. Good job and good luck .
