Axil Coffee Roasters

Tried potato salad with extra chicken and it was one of the best food I have ever had ❤️ There was a unique flavour in each bite literally! Service was extraordinary and they were keeping regular checks on, if everything was alright 🤗 The tables are usually occupied most of the time and a long queue for take away as well. So, reach early as you don't wanna miss out this place!

Weekend brunch and coffee was a good experience at Axil Chadstone. There was a short wait for our table of two (< 10 minutes though) as was to be expected on a weekend at Chadstone. The servers were good, professional and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the two beef brisket items on the menu and they were both delicious. Good service and good food. Similar to its Hawthorn counterpart, Chadstone Axil served delicious brunch meals. We ordered red velvet pancakes and slow braised lamb roti wrap. The pancakes were fluffy, tart and sweet a la red velvet, and the black sesame ice cream balanced out the sweetness. The slow braised lamb was tender, and the tabouli and baba ganoush were well-spiced and tasty. Coffee was great, and so was service. Axil was a great lunch option at Chadstone.

Of course I was in desperate need of coffee beans yet again, Axil seemed the best bet for the options in Chadstone. They roast their own beans and the shop is constantly buzzing with people. The young lad who gave me a run down of the difference in bean options was fantastic, really appreciated that level of service. We'll see how the beans go, but I doubt I'll be let down.

It was OK! Coffee was good! But they only sell the 1 size which is disappointing. Our meal was a little basic... to be honest there was just to much going on in the 1 meal... the flavours didn't compliment each other, the wiped avocado tasted like the most sour lemon you have ever had in your life... and the price isn't really that great. I recommend stopping in for a coffee... but I'd skip the meal.
