Just about 2 years back, I had given this place, I think 5 stars.. But after last night's dinner, I really think it deserved 1 star.. But gave 2. Let's begin with what went wrong. 1. At the onset, was asked to place our order at the counter and.. Thats ok.. No issues.. 2. When food was served, out of the 3 dishes/portions, only one had a set of cutlery.. Even after a long wait, cutlery did not come.. Had to press the bell to ask for cutlery. Each table has a green cutlery box and at almost every table it was empty. Witnessed a couple next to our table get frustrated with the lack of spoons and forks. 3. Water... The staff forgot to provide us with any glass or water bottle. Pressed the bell, no one shows up.. I dont blame the staff.. They really looked overworked. Ultimately, I got up and approached a lady who was preparing ice cream.. She pointed to a place where there where some empty water bottles. Had to request another staff and she filled up for us..I carried some glasses on the way back to the table. My suggestion to management.. If you have less staff for any reason, pls make sure you have a table for cutlery and water bottles, so that the diners can help themselves.. Most won't mind walking to the counter to place and pay, similarly, diners can pick up cutlery and water themselves.. Far better than leaving them confused and waiting. About the food.. I think the poor service numbed my taste buds.. So, I have nothing to write about the food.

Have been to this restaurant all the time in the past. Went today and all the food was not good at all. Food was served warm/almost cold. The asam fish was overcooked and very dry and serve cold. The nasi kunyit with the fried chicken was cold and chicken way overcooked. Very unpleasant time here and the price is not worthy at all. Very disappointed.

First, the table was dirty. Our order arrived quite late about 30 minutes, and a dish was sent to wrong table, so we have to cancel as we had been waiting for 50 minutes. The waitresses were lifeless, although to their credit the table was cleaned right away after we asked. The male staff also offered a cup of malaysian tea free of charge. On the positive side, the teochew paofan dish was tasty.

Worst customer service. I came here around 8pm on a Saturday night, the restaurant is pretty empty but I had to wait 15-20 mins to get seated. The couple behind me was also questioning if they are still open because the staff kept cleaning the tables and didn’t come to seat us. I asked and they said they needed to prepare for a big group, however, I only need a table for 1 and the people behind me needed a table for 2 so they could have seated us ages ago if they bother come out and ask. I then also have to line up to order and my chicken rice wasnt great either :)
