Had a wonderful meal here, with fantastic service from Ingrid! The foundation of what this restaurant stands for and is committed to made it an obvious choice for supper. We wanted southern food and the cost of our meal helps others … no brainer! Super cool minimalist vibe meets great food. We ordered fried green tomatoes, chicken pot pie, squash casserole and fried catfish dinner. Everything was scrumptious… particularly the end note of coconut cake. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant concept of giving back!

We had an amazing dinner at The King’s Kitchen and love their mission to help people in need and provide jobs. The fried chicken was delicious; the breading was so flavorful and perfectly crispy. The sides were nice and hot and well-seasoned. We enjoyed everything we tried. The honey butter and topping for the roasted sweet potatoes were tasty. The sweet tea was a little too sweet for my taste but letting the ice melt helped water it down a little. Our servers were extremely attentive and they along with the manager checked on us often. Such a delicious meal!

Another great restaurant in Charlotte. First off, our server epitomized Southern Charm and hospitality. She handled the table of 9 like a pro. Super wither recommendations (shrimp and grits). Very nice with compliments on my choice of deviled eggs and fried oysters. All the food was tasty, presented well and reasonably priced. Will totally come back.

Such a great place to eat. The food was amazing! Not 1 complaint from our table. It’s also a beautiful restaurant with a great location. We went back In September with a party of 10 for my BFs birthday. Our server Mickey took great care of all of us. I truly enjoyed her. From the time she took my reservation over the phone to the day we arrived, her customer service was A1. She was friendly, attentive, and accurate with our order. All around great experience here, and will definitely return.

First time here, visiting from Florida. The chicken pot pie was amongst the best meals I have ever had. Seriously was sad when the last bit was gone. So very good! Banana Pudding for dessert was also really great. Service, great! Manager stopped to talk to us and was very kind! Thanks for a great meal!

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The service was good. Our server was really friendly and gave great service. The food came out quickly and correct. The fried chicken entree was excellent. I would definitely order that again. The shrimp po boy was okay. I would try another option before I ordered it again. All of the other dinner options we ordered were good as well. I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

We were in town for Labor Day weekend, and our 3-year-old kid was adamant about getting a burger.. it was packed everywhere, and we were lucky to have run into this place. The ticket time from ordering to food arriving at the table was 52 minutes. We ordered 1 fried green tomatoe appetizer,2 chicken sandwich meals, two kids' menu item burgers, and the trio of sides. The food was amazing, but my favorite was the side of tomatoes with aioli or oil and some type of cheese crumble!

Our server, Ashley, was nice and so was JB! The food came out pretty quickly & was really tasty! The pimento cheese was flavorful & the fried oysters were absolutely delicious! They were fried to perfection. We will be back to try other menu items as the prices were pretty fair. We came here for a family members birthday & there was even a birthday sign waiting for her at the table! We all thought that was super sweet!
