Midnight Diner

With a 4.4 rating at the time of writing this review, this place is more on the underrated side than not. The food here ranges from very good to great. Service is probably even better than that. If you go here you must try the collard greens, they are amazing. In reality, you cannot go wrong with whatever you order here.

I was in town for a short minute. And I was hungry. So this place was close by.. they had good reviews..sooooo why not. The inside was nothing to talk about. Had the diner look. I was helped pretty quickly and seated. They had a decent menu with a good amount of options..the uptown( Arnold parmler) was good. The server suggested chicken and waffles or shrimp amd grits. So I went with chicken and waffles. The food came out in a decent amount of time..the food was good. Check was big wings. Whichever I liked. And waffle was good. Damn neaR waffle house good. I didnt know there was free parking for diner. So I had to pay. Which sucked. But overall it was good food. Which is all I care about. I would go back for sure. . Nothing flashy.. just good food

First time eating here. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! Our server, Ares, was very helpful and provided excellent service. The food itself was tasty and the provided sides were plentiful in their amount. The decor reminded us of a 50s diner and was clean and shiny. We are looking forward to going back and trying their breakfast 😊

If I could give today’s service 10 Stars, I would. Let’s start with the host, she greeted everyone and tried her best to make sure that she sat everyone with a sense of urgency, she had a great attitude no matter how busy it was. Then there was our Server GiGi, GiGi was amazing and gave service with a smile. She was very easy going and just gave off really good vibes, she didn’t make us feel rushed and made the experience that much better. If you choose this location I highly recommend that you request her section. The food was good and the collard greens were a hit this trip. Be sure to get yourself and Arnold Palmer or as I told GiGi an Uptown.

I have always enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The waiters work hard and are friendly. The food is hot and delicious. They would have gotten 5 stars however we were seated for a few seconds then asked to move and both tables were dirty and the floor was extremely sticky. I will be going back trying to save room for dessert next time.
