Where did guest WiFi go? I'll change this to 5 stars if you bring it back! :) I used to pop in here on a regular basis and knock out some work at lunch while enjoying the great atmosphere, food, and service, but now I'll have to find another spot since there is no more guest WiFi. ...also, who serves hush puppies without honey butter? Other than that, I love this place as it has some of the best BBQ. Burnt Ends, Brisket Taco, and the Collard Greens.

We came across this place while leaving our hotel room and decided to stop in for a pick up.
All smiles. The drinks are great. Great food.

Food was good typical Southern comfort BBQ. The pulled pork and brisket was really good. Sides were okay. I would go here again.

Best smoked wings that I have ever had. The smoked buffalo wings were huge, juicy, and had a nice char. Loved the BBQ bean. They were tangy, slightly spicy hot and full of pulled pork. Mac and cheese was thick and super cheesy. I didn't care for the collard greens they were too sweet for me and could have been more tender. But that's more my preference than their quality. So good I came back the next day for a Cuban sandwich.

I used Uber Eats so I can't speak on the service but the wings were some of the best I've had in a while I ordered 6 honey BBQ and 6 lemon pepper and I was not disappointed at all! They were a good size wing(not small at all)and they had a good smoked taste! The egg rolls were ok. I definitely will be back, next time maybe I'll dine in.
Update:
I rewarmed my leftover egg rolls today and they were actually good as hell! 🤷🏿♂️

We had a pleasing BBQ lunch at Mac’s Speed Shop while visiting Charlotte. Burnt ends are always a must when on the menu and these are good ones. The brisket French Dip sandwich with smoked onions was delicious, as well as the tasty Brunswick Stew. The service was real good and friendly. Stop in for some solid BBQ and a drink.

I got the chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. SO GOOD!! Good music choices, and the food is amazing. Our server was great. Will definitely be coming back!

Respectable BBQ with some decent sides. Personally I thought the pulled pork and smoked turkey were the best. Good prices on both those options as well. Hush puppies also good. Good service. Loud and lively.
