Jim 'n Nick's Bar-b-q

tl;dr: Incredible spot for drive thru BBQ and chicken. I have been coming to this place for at least a decade and it has remained consistent in quality and food options. Great BBQ and chicken, and their cheese biscuits are incredible. Recently, we had a couple hiccups on some orders, but a manager has either resolved everything or reached out personally. Super impressed. Definitely recommend.

As an African American woman potato salad means everything. When I tell you the potato salad at Jim N Nick's tastes like your southern mama made it 😋 ,I'm not kidding. The potato salad is so good I wondered if my mama was in their kitchen. The cheese biscuits are better than red lobster but back to the potato salad. You can order it for a party it's that good Jim and Nick's should have already started selling this potato salad in the grocery store next to Bob Evans because Bob Evans has nothing on this potato salad trust me so if you're stopping through or you're in the area try to potato salad get those cheese biscuits I am not steering you wrong.

Food was awesome definitely recommend the turkey, pulled chicken and the catfish. To complement the great food we had an awesome server Luis. He treated us like family made our experience spectacular. Want great service to go with you food request him. Also if it’s your first time take his recommendations. Can’t tell you how refreshing it is for someone to hear you and understand that dining should be fully enjoyable.

So this time around, it's not so good. Food cold. Informed waitress. She took back, and it gets sent back a second time colder. We ask for it to be boxed. Waitress says she spoke with GM. I'm not happy at all with this visit. I've taken back several hundred dollars in potatoes but never again. Unappreciated!

I ordered here twice and both times were to-go orders so I really can’t speak too much on service. When I’ve come to pick up my food, there wasn’t anyone at the register but a few minutes wait they would get my name and bring my order right out. Each time I placed an order online, the food was ready on time. My first visit, I ordered the two meat plate. Short ribs and pulled pork. Huge box of food. It comes with two sides. I opted for the Mac n cheese and collard greens. With the two meat option, you can choose what kind of sauce you want for each meat that comes on the side. I ordered the regular bbq sauce which was a little sweet and tart. The pulled pork was dry and not much flavor. The short ribs were delicious!!! The Mac n cheese was average and creamy. The collard greens were also delicious. The star of the meal was the cheddar biscuits OMG!!! They are little mini biscuits but they were so fresh and soft, a little sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed those biscuits with my meal. The second trip, I got the short ribs with double fries. It comes with like 3/4 ribs but they were chopped up so it seemed like more. The fries were okay. One would have been enough for me, I just didn’t want any other sides like baked beans, slaw, Mac n cheese or greens. The ribs were good without the sauce but I did put a little bit on a couple of the ribs. The ribs are a good size and worth the price. Again, it comes with two biscuits and they were fresh and delicious. A consistent flavor on both visits. I will try the brisket on my next visit. Definitely has become my go to spot for ribs and biscuits.
