Harper's Restaurant

We like Harper's a lot. It's a great place to eat. The wood fired pizzas are amazing, the thin crispy crust is off the charts. The truffle fries are awesome, too. We go here sometimes just for those. The devilled eggs need some work, I have noticed some resturaunts make them the day before, and the filling gets hard in the fridge over night. That's my recommendation to make them fresh daily. Highly recommended, nonetheless!

Made a reservation Thursday and was seated immediately on Friday night vs a 20+ min wait for dining room. Ordered wedge salad (yum) and pizza, but server brought a different pizza. I ate it anyway. The combo price for the salad and pizza is pretty good...but thinking about it now and reflecting on what my bill total was, my server didn't give me the combo price. I didn't catch it when paying though...so, two mistakes by my server. But she was otherwise quite nice and generally attentive.

This was my first time here. My waitress was great. She pointed out some of her favorites for me to consider since I had never been. I ordered the smoked bacon deviled eggs and the bbq chicken pizza. The eggs were good. I prefer them a little sweeter and with less filling. They had a slight vinegar flavor. The greens and dressing served with them was good also. The bbq chicken pizza was very good. I love pizzas baked in wood burning ovens. It was thin crust, and the toppings paired well together. I recommend Harper's and plan to return.

10/23 —— EDIT🖤🖤🖤 We went back about a month ago and they were on top of things. Portion size was great and service was amazing! Food was delicious!! Great outdoor seating area also!! 01/23- Slow, understaffed. The salads are really small so if you are hungry or on a diet and expect more to your meal when eating a salad you should probably plan on ordering a side. The waiter seemed preoccupied. I’ll try this place again in a few months, but I miss the old location in Columbia

I had the Italian sausage pasta and we shared the bacon deviled eggs. The pasta was cheesy and was a great portion size. The Italian sausage was crumbled in with the pasta and cheese sauce. The deviled eggs tasted like they were prepared with twangy mustard and the bacon was just bacon, no coating or extra seasoning. I wouldn't order those again. Our server was attentive during our actual mesl time. We ended up talking, oblivious to closing time until they turned up the lights and we had to leave.
