Famous Toastery

I've eaten here a few times now, either as part of a conference or when passing through the area. The food is astounding, but be warned, it's served in LARGE portions. My wife and I, not exactly light eaters, have split an order of some of the breakfast dishes and been fine with it. The staff is friendly and caring, and service is generally pretty quick. The weekends are a slightly different story, but only because they get very, very (deservedly) busy. If you're going Saturday or Sunday, you might want to make a reservation. They are open for breakfast and lunch, closed for dinner. I have another conference coming up as I write this, and I'll be going back there again.

The food was AMAZING! The service however was not the best. Our waitress was not the nicest and hardly came by our table after giving us our food. It took my mom asking for a water 3 times and then having to get someone else before she could get her drink. Overall, I still recommend the place and the food, atmosphere, and view were amazing, they just need to work on their manners.

Food, service and atmosphere were all very good. It is very relaxing to watch the ducks in the pond outside. I can recommend the Blackened chicken Caesar wrap. For the price, I would have expected slightly larger portions, especially the size of my potato salad side dish. Both bites of it were delicious!

We visited here for breakfast about two weeks ago on a recent visit to Charlotte, NC. I had the Country Benedict which had two fried hard eggs, country ham, fried potatoes and sausage gravy over a split biscuit. Hubby had the Biscuits and gravy combo which was two biscuits split and smothered with sausage gravy and side of scrambled eggs with bacon. He also had fresh pineapple juice and I had freshly squeezed orange juice. The food was very good and the portions were huge. We will definitely return again and would certainly recommend a visit to this place. We had great customer service.

We went there around noon. It was nice and quiet. We got a nice table with a lake view. I like this location (especially the dinning area) better than the Concord one. The burger was really delicious and perfectly cooked. And their avocado toast and mac and cheese were well seasoned and delicious. I usually get coffee but I got an orange juice this time it was freshly squeezed and refreshing. Great experience overall.

This has become a regular spot for me to enjoy. This fold is literally amazing, I've been so pleased and told many of my friends to come join me here. Only issue I have is I haven't been able to get a window set to see the water while I eat. Food is 5 stars alone every visit. Service has been good and I can even pay from my phone by scanning my receipt. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 It not even a question if I'll be back. See you next week!

If you are looking for food breakfast this is the place to go. Everything was so delicious. They have the best potatoes that I’ve ever eaten. The mimosa flight was good. Wild berry was my favorite. My party ordered many different options of food and there was absolutely no complaints. We all enjoyed the food and the service.

First of all, this location is really nice. It's got a good view of the pond and it's in a nice hidden area but one that is still easy to access. As far as food goes, it was very good. The menu was easy and not too large. I had the California Benedict and while it could have used some extra seasoning I thought the Benedict itself was great and a great spin on traditional eggs Benedict. The qr code to pay was genius, I didn't know about it initially until the server told me but I really liked that idea and wish more restaurants did it.
