Poppy's Bagels And More

I did a catering order of bagels, lox, cream cheese, etc for a brunch I was having at home. Mark and everyone at Poppy’s is on their game!! I can’t say enough about them! They don’t miss a detail. Mark texted with me after hours. The food was perfect-everyone loved. I highly recommend using Poppy’s Providence Rd for your next gathering. Mark takes the stress out of your hands!

Great bagels. Great nova. Great whitefish. Brainless checkout girl. Ask a basic question, they just stare at you and give you answers that make no sense. For example, I asked for a Diet Coke, so she said “You can get a fountain soda with ice”, then you purchase the fountain soda, walk over to the fountain soda machine and a sign on the machine reads “No ice”. Just an example. Overall the food was great and probably why this place does well.

I was in Poppy's this morning and got an everything, toasted with plain cream cheese. This is my typical choice at any bagel place. 1 week ago I placed the same order at Poppy's and it was the best bagel by far I have had in a long time. Today the same order resulted in a bagel with almost nothing on it. This was not an everything bagel.....it was not even an almost bagel! It was still a good bagel but the consistency from week to week is not good. Last week I could have brought my family from NY and they would have raved....today them would have laughed.

Thanks for the amazing 🥯 Bagels. I am the guy who getS 3 dozen atleast once a week. 1 PLAIN, 1 EVERYTHING, 1 BLUEBERRY!!!Never fails, consistently good! I am from the Northeast and grew up eating bagels around a bunch of conisours of that type! Poppies is as close as it gets. So we don't have the stinking water they have you say! I say H20 is H20 BRO! ✌️ ❤️ 🥯 🥯 🥯

I first went on a weekend which felt very chaotic, it was hard to figure out the layout, where I order, when and where do I pay. I went at opening and it felt better just cause there were less moving parts. That being said best bagel I have had in Charlotte. Light and airy, crusty exterior. The construction of my lox with works was phenomenal. Nice thin red onion, balance between tomato and salmon. No spillage. Also had a plain with the strawberry cream cheese. I like it had pieces.

First time at Poppy's and wow! This place is great. The food delicious! I never had such a delicious bagel in life. Made fresh and perfect. The staff was doing great making sure people were practicing social distancing by having only a few enter at a time. All the staff were wearing mask and doing their best to follow safety precautions. This place is crazy busy but well worth the wait! Michelle was sweet and greeted me. Everyone in the front provided great customer service! Since it was my first time the whole staff was kind and welcomed me hello. Sue made my bagel sandwich and boy was it amazing! Don't miss out on those holiday cookies either. My daughter loved them. I will be back and make sure to let everyone know about this gem!
