A Piece Of Havana

The food here was really good. Got the shredded beef, yellow rice and plantains! The creole shrimp also was really good. But I must say, the star of the show really was the mojitos! I’ve been to Cuba three times and this place has it spot on. We came as they were closing so the atmosphere was pretty empty. Looking forward to trying them out again..

Came with a party 6, the food was amazing as we got many different items. Ordered multiple cocktails and all were also very good. Favorite was the coconut mojito. Even though they had a party of 28 that night the waitress was very attentive. Very good music and a good mC as it was karaoke night as well. If you’re looking for a Latin place to dance on a Friday Saturday definitely recommend

Best Cuban food around. Loved the empanadas. Everything was very flavorful and nice portion sizes. Got the crispy beef with chimi churri sauce and it was excellent. Recommend to anyone looking to try Cuban food or a nice date night out. Band was just setting up as we left but I'm sure the live music is bumping.

The food here is amazing!! The service is a little slow but the food more than makes up for it. I was a little disappointed they were out of the one appetizer I really wanted to try. I had the crispy beef with congris (rice and beans) and plantains. It was phenomenal. The person I was with got the Cuban sandwich and said it was great. I was also a little taken aback by the upcharge if you wanted a different side than fries with a sandwich. $4 is too much when the fries are listed on the menu as $5 and the other sides are $6, feels like the upcharge should be $1, no?

We went to A Piece of Havana for the first time for an early Saturday dinner. We were looking for something different, away from our neighborhood, The staff was very friendly and helpful, but in spite of ordering when the restaurant was not at all crowded it took thirty minutes to receive our sandwiches. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and my friend ordered a Miami sandwich. After our wait, however, the sandwiches were delicious (and hot). We left shortly after the music began, with a man with a good voice singing. This is a fun place. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was great and the music looked like it was going to be entertaining. We will definitely be back, and very much recommend it. Update: We visited again. This time the food was still excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Our server, however, was difficult to find. And this time the music was playing the entire time we were there. The music was very, very loud. It was impossible to communicate across the table. I don't know why the music is played at that volume in such a small space.
