La Poblanita Mexican Restaurant & Candy Store

Both outside and inside very clean. There is an outside area for seating during warmer weather. Music both inside and out. There is a stage for live music on Friday and Saturday. No happy hour, however, we asked about drink speciials and were told the bar had a drink special $5 margaritas, which are tasty. Atmosphere nice. There is booth seating without the walls so the room is open. They have a candy store and banquet facility on the premises.

We’ve been here for dinner and for brunch. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly, very pleasant staff. But they need to step up the game busing tables. Empty plates left on the table too long. Live music on Saturday evenings (we leave by 11:00 pm when DJ starts and gets really loud) Sunday afternoons 12-3:00 pm makes it a fun place.

There are many Mexican restaurants in Charlotte but this one is our favorite. The service is generally good, the drinks are strong, and the food is well prepared. I've had tamales and burritos and quesadillas here. The queso with chips is good though the cheese doesn't stay hot for very long. Salsa is tasty.

First time trying, and we were definitely not disappointed. The vibe is nice, the staff is super sweet, and the food is awesome! We haven’t been able to find good Mexican food since moving here and I think we finally found out spot! We got street tacos, enchiladas and a quesadilla and all of them were so yummy!

I'm a regular customer via DoorDash, but I finally went to the restaurant to pick up food. It's very festive inside with music and an air of happy hour. Of course, the food is great, too. I'm a fan of their traditional style tacos, but I've heard great things about their burritos, too. Their menu is laid out nicely and easy to read. I sat at the bar and waited a few minutes for my food and they have a well-stocked bar... Looks like they make a great margarita, too. Parking here is easy as they have a massive parking lot right of Westinghouse Blvd.
