Que Onda Tacos + Tequila

I've probably been here and the other Charlotte locations tens of times. They have the best birria that I've tasted in Charlotte. The fajitas, barbacoa and al pastor tacos are good. They generally keep a good tequila selection. You won't be disappointed if you looking for good tacos and friendly atmosphere IG: cltfooddrinkguy

I went to Que Onda with a friend whilst in town for a comedy show. The food was good I had the three meat acp with a lime/pomegranate swirl sorbet margarita and my friend had the nachos. The nachos were chips piled high with nothing other than the peak of chip mountain so some chips were super dry, whilst others almost crumbling from weight of toppings. My dish was very tasty and the meat was seasoned well. The shrimp were a tad overcooked but still edible. Our server disappeared from table for over 10 minutes at times and we’d have to get someone else to help us. The tables in the restaurant were clean and so was the inside and outside floor area. Parking is kind of a nightmare but best on opposite side of adjacent parking lot were spaces midday Saturday were $5 per half an hour, but be advised they’re quick to go up for next whole half and hour. Overall a good meal and sorbet margarita was easily the best thing I’d ever had. I was a big sorbet kid so this was perfect.

So shortly after Covid I worked at this location for about a month as I transitioned back into society lol. I have to say the food and and the service have done nothing but grow!! Frida and Delfina continue to be a destination for me to visit because of their hospitality and skills behind the bar. And the food!!!!!!! You won’t find better. I never order Togo anywhere else but I love this so much I have to eat it in bed! 😘
