Enat Ethiopian Restaurant

Cozy, quiet Ethiopian restaurant tucked away in a strip mall in an Asian grocery parking lot. We were the only customers when we sat down, but others arrived later. Server thoroughly explained everything on the menu and their specials. Fosolia and shiro were great, so was kitfo. There was even a glossary on the menu! Injera was so filling. Coffee and tea were simple and not very strong. Highly recommend this place!

This is a very good restaurant with very delicious food. My wife and I stopped by here before doing some shopping at the Asian supermarket close by here. When we go out we look to go places that have cuisines we can't make at home, and Enat fits the bill! The food was delicious, and transformed some things I usually don't like like green beans and cabbage into my favorite parts of the dish. I was literally stealing the cabbage from my wife's plate. The dishes were also served with a tasty sponge Ethiopian bread that's used to sop up the other parts of the meal, which was interesting and delicious. The host was super friendly, giving us tips on what items to get, and made sure we had a variety to enjoy our meal. I would go here again in a heart beat, one of the best experiences trying out food from Africa in Charlotte!

Easily one of my favorite restaurants. Such a vibe. Food is amazing. If you’re looking for some flavor and we’ll cooked food, you need to come try this. I ate the grilled lamb tips. They were tender and full of seasons I haven’t had before. Asides from sitting and eating my meal in peace alone, I also ordered 2 Togo meals to share the experience with others.

My husband and I had never tried Ethiopian food until tonight and we have been missing out our whole lives! Our dinner at Enat was one of the best meals we have ever had. The customer service was amazing; our waitress was so sweet and ready to help if we had any questions about the menu. The food was truly out of this world- so flavorful.. I don’t even have words to describe how delicious everything was. We will certainly be back and tell all our friends and family to try Enat, too. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Today 8/25/2023, went to go get my favorite food, Beef Keyi, it's has always been so great for me each time I come to Enats, but today the food was so salty I couldn't even eat it. I was so disappointed. I love you guys, but I think your new cook has lost her taste buds. Please check her work. Thank you and I'll be back to got more 💚 💙 💜 ♥️

Located in a shopping plaza on The Plaza in Charlotte's East side, The Enat Ethiopian restaurant is cozy, and the service was great. I love Habesh art, and Enat's walls displayed some impressive pieces. If you like fish, I recommend the grouper fish sandwich, which is loaded with spices and vegetables. I ordered mine on whole wheat and was delighted. Also had a side of miser, which is a soupy, lentil dish, cooked in spices. Nice and spicy-hot. Had to get the Awaze sauce because if you know me, you know I like feeling hot, hot, hot!

OMGGGGGGGG IF THIS ISN'T GOOD, THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS 🤩🥰🥰😍😍😍😊😊😊😋😋 The best Ethiopian food I've had in yeeeaaarrss!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend enjoyed it so much too he got full before I did and I'm the pregnant one 😂😂🤣🤣 I have photos for you all as well....lol.. Oh and need I add that I personally didn't see wheelchair accessible ramp, but it may have it on just not 100%sure, but their is handicap parking and plenty of parking as well. This restaurant feels clean and well as they keep it nice and clean. You definitely have to try it it's worth coming to believe that. 😊😊😍😍😍

I've had Ethiopian and Eritrean a number of times in different parts of the US and abroad. This ranks up there with some of my favorites. I had to chuckle when I entered because the woman who greeted me asked if I had had this kind of cuisine before - it almost seemed like she was concerned, lol. But she was friendly throughout the service and attentive. I had the Classic Tibs w/ lamb and the miser, plus extra sides of gomen and tikel gomen. It came out quickly and the meal was great. Lamb was tender and flavorful, the vegetarian sides were also very flavorful - I love how Ethiopian cuisine puts focus are creating great vegetarian dishes. I would love to try the vegetarian platter! Portions were good, I definitely didn't leave hungry. Not sure I can critique the injera - for me it was fine but I'm not experienced enough to be an expert. With the extra sides I did need a little more than what was brought out. The next time I am back in the area I will definitely return!
