Moosehead Grill

Ya know. 20 years going here, those wings. The blackened ones. Just absolutely superb. I met a 25 year old Gilbert Gottfried lookalike and put Purple Rain on the jukebox maybe 4 times that night. I had my first pitcher of beer with my dad there. Celebrated App State's first National Championship there. Every time I go, a new sticker, trinket, or painting adorns the walls and rafters. I bring my out of town friends every time. I've soiled brand new shoes with over indulgence and wouldn't change anything about those decisions. It's my wife and my favorite place to drink and eat in this town. Impeccable service. The quickest service for drinks I have ever seen. The staff just coalesces and flows off each other, seamlessly. It was clearly an old Pizza Hut with those trapezoid windows. If we can't make up our mind where to go, it's always here. 10/10. Thank you.

If your looking for some amazing chicken wings, bar bites and fun atmosphere this local bar and grill is an absolute hit! Best chicken wings in 500 miles. Wonderful selection. Do not their blackened wings - they are epic. Also for those of you that like a little heat: try their killer bees - they did not disappoint. These wings deserve six stars. Stop wasting time reading get yourself some Moosehead - you will not regret it.

I have been all over in the search of good wings. This spot has THE BEST wings I have ever had. The black and blue and bee-sting are a must try. Great spot for lunch or a quick bite. Chris is hilarious and made us feel like regulars even when we just popped in from out of town. We will be back (terminator voice).

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been going for years and am so glad that any changes they've made (like the awesome rooftop sitting area!) have not influenced the quality of food, the ambience of the bar area, and the general vibe! Moosehead Grill was built in a previous Pizza Hut...and they still have the red plastic cups and the tell-tale windows to prove it! Great selection of beer and food! Uncle Donnie's blackened wings are the best! My partner who is from New England was impressed with the clam chowder! Can't wait until I'm visiting Charlotte again for another delicious meal!
