We love coming to Sushi 101 in Promenade. The staff are so friendly and take time to get to know you. Their rolls are so fresh and delicious! Our server makes great recommendations, and they are always tasty.

We love Sushi 101. One of the areas they excel in is getting your order right for takeout. Special request, sauces,etc. it’s so hard with takeout nowadays because most places miss things. Sushi 101 always shows great attention to detail and have never found anything missing or a special request missed. The food is great and affordable

This is our go to eatery when looking for a small quiet atmosphere with awesome sushi and service. We love the S&S 101 combo, chicken lettuce wraps and spring rolls.

Went there for a late lunch when visiting Charlotte and had amazing sushi! The rolls I ordered were delicious. I asked the server if the chef could turn a non-spicy roll into one that was and he did. My go to Charlotte place for sushi!

That was my first time!! I looooved it. I loooved the muzik and art. Even bought a painting on my way out!! I will deff b bk. Wooohooo. I was celebrating my 13yrs of soberity!! I had the basil rolls, the Jasmine roll, and the Sir Justin's roll. They tasted AMAZING!!!

Food tasty, had sushi, ramen noodle bowl, tempura shrimp. Very fast service! Atmosphere was basic, small but was fine, it wasn't very crowded. I will go back and recommend.

I have been coming here for years and have tried many sushi places in Charlotte. In my opinion, this is the best sushi in Charlotte. The atmosphere is also my favorite.

Update: Sun the owner personally reached out to be and discussed our experience. We tried at other location and it was lot better experience. Sun was very professional and caring for her customers.
We were excited to try this restaurant based on good reviews, we were ultimately disappointed. We spent $150 here the rolls we got were inedible due to the rice being overly sticky and mushy, which made them hard to eat. We couldn't even eat more than five pieces. Additionally, the salad seemed to have been cut a while ago and wasn't fresh. This just ruined my night and money down the drain.

I Love Sushi and this is a great spot where you can get quality sushi at a reasonable price, and not just Sushi they have a lot more to offer for all kinds of taste, if you around the area come and visit this place, at my experience usually is never too busy and it's always been clean bathrooms have been clean and the ambience is very cozy.
